Upon receiving a spinal anesthetic she went into bradycardia and then cardio/respiratory arrest resulting in brain damage. We alleged that the anesthesiologist failed to timely recognize and treat the bradycardia and arrest which led to a lack of adequate oxygen being delivered to her brain.
