David is a partner at Costello, McMahon, Burke & Murphy, Ltd. He concentrates his practice in helping victims of personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, wrongful death and transportation disaster cases. Mr. Gilbreth regularly handles complex damages cases and has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts, settlements and judgments in his career. David grew up in the Arlington Heights area. He was an all-state basketball player for John Hersey High School and attended Butler University on a basketball scholarship. Prior to moving to the suburbs, David’s family lived in the City, where his father served as a detective on the Chicago Police Department. David graduated from the John Marshall Law School. He currently volunteers as an AYSO soccer coach where he is proud to say his girls team is the defending region 418 champion. He lives on the north side of the City with his wife and two daughters.
