Rich grew up in the Fox Lake area in northern Illinois where his father was and continues to be a truck driver and member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
Rich was a standout football player in high school and a scholarship student at the University of St. Francis. Rich graduated from Kent Law School where he won the CALI Award (highest grade) in Trial Advocacy. Rich joined our firm in 2002 and is currently handling wrongful death, paraplegia, and brain damage cases.
Rich has had very notable results on behalf of our clients. Rich recently obtained $1,500,000 for a 48-year-old truck driver who was struck head-on resulting in a C4-7 posterior cervical fusion. Also, Rich obtained $815,000 for a 41-year-old truck driver struck broadside by a delivery truck resulting in a cervical anterior fusion, and $740,000 for a 55-year-old truck driver struck by a defendant entering the expressway resulting in a cervical fusion two years after the collision. Rich also won a highly contested liability case against Pace Bus Service convincing the jury to award $200,000 in favor of our client.
Rich is a frequent volunteer at St. John Berchman’s Parish located in the Logan Square community of Chicago. He is a member of the Young Irish Fellowship Club of Chicago and serves on the Judicial Evaluation Committee for the Chicago Bar Association. Rich currently resides in Chicago.
