David joined our firm in the spring of 2005. Prior to that, David was the sole trial lawyer at another firm in the City, where he obtained several multimillion dollar verdicts and settlements. Two of those verdicts came in cases where no offer of settlement was made prior to trial.
In the last twelve months David has obtained two more verdicts in excess of one million dollars, including an $11 million verdict in a medical negligence case a verdict of $1.8 million in a case involving an automobile crash. The $11 million dollar verdict involved an emergency room physician’s failure to timely diagnose bacterial meningitis in an adult patient. The $1.8 million dollar verdict was in reference to one of our clients who had an exacerbation of a pre-existing cynovial cyst in the facet joint, located in her back which required surgery. There was no offer of settlement made prior to the verdict.
David has spoken to physician groups regarding methods of avoiding medical malpractice claims.
