David grew up in the Arlington Heights area. He was an all-state basketball player for John Hersey High School and attended Butler University on a basketball scholarship. Prior to moving to the suburbs, David’s family lived in the City, where his father served as a detective on the Chicago Police Department. David graduated from the John Marshall Law School. He lives on the north side of the City with his wife and two daughters.
